OUR MISSION :
To act as a community voice in promoting and protecting the residential nature of the community and quality of life issues for Ward One residents.
We need everyone’s voice and participation to work for solutions to keeping, protecting and building a friendly and respectful neighborhood. Come and elect a group of willing volunteers to keep this mission active.
NEW MEMBERS welcome.
Accomplishments:
- Attendance at Town & Gown committee meetings to vocalize our concerns with By-Law enforcement, Traffic engineering, Property Inspections, City Counsellors, Police, representatives from Georgian College resulting in:
- new zoning by-laws are being tabled with City Council
- alternate housing solutions are being tabled
- more proactive policing and by-law enforcement
